I have always enjoyed watermelon. I remember biting a sweet, juicy wedge when I was younger and how the juice ran all down my arm. I am just a bit older now, Lol. I still enjoy a sweet, juicy watermelon. However, one of my coworkers introduced me to a clever way of enhancing the flavor. I squeeze the juice of a lime all over my serving then add a moderate sprinkling of Tajin. Taste just like the Caribbean Islands. Try it, I dare you!

Du-Summer Jazz Sessions are at the Roundhouse Plaza which is right across the street from the museum. Entertainers perform every Thursday from 6-8. FREE parking and nice wrapped tables set up for four, first come-first served. However, late comers know to walk in with lawn chairs and the regulars know to bring food.

My family is from the south, so I grew up eating watermelon sprinkled with a little salt. I absolutely LOVE eating watermelon this way! You are correct it’s a “true game changer”! I actually had some earlier this week. Try a mixture of watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew melon.
