One of the best things we can do to love ourselves is to invest in our self-care. Below are just a few ideas.

Clay Mask

Apple cider vinegar and bentonite clay will tingle and detox your pores. After a good twenty minutes it will reveal fresh skin with a natural glow.

 

Foot Soak

A classic basin, some warm water and a bath bomb will soak all of your aches away. Makes my feet happy.

Cup of Tea

Fresh ginger slices and boiling water is all you need for a soothing sip of fresh and flavorful tea.

Massage

My girlfriend said “lets go get a massage”. She took me to a spot where I have never been. Sixty minutes of pure relaxation.

Horseback Ride

My ‘favorite’ horse, Bubblegum. Nothing like a trail ride to clear your mind and center your peace.

Sauna Bed

HigherDose has the best at home far infrared sauna bed with an automatic shut off after fifty-five minutes. Which is great for me because I usually fall asleep.

Lisa

Du-Summer Jazz Sessions are at the Roundhouse Plaza which is right across the street from the museum. Entertainers perform every Thursday from 6-8. FREE parking and nice wrapped tables set up for four, first come-first served. However, late comers know to walk in with lawn chairs and the regulars know to bring food.

    These are some great ideas! Thanks for sharing your pictures and a few of your practices. Self care is soooo important. It can mean so many things. This helps me to remember that I can take care of myself in multiple ways …🙌🏾
