Praying for Peace

This year has been very different and not at all what I expected. I have been accused of seeing life through rose colored lenses. I was not ready for a Pandemic that would shut down the city and stop all travel. I was not ready for violent protesting and looting that would shut down my job. I was not ready for the extreme gun violence that would overwhelm the hospitals. But, I am always ready for prayer and I have been praying for peace.

I have enough faith in God to believe that all of these storms will be over soon. Please know that even when it doesn’t look like it, even when we can’t see it with our natural eyes. God is still working and is STILL in control. The sun will shine again.

“May mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you”. Jude 1:2

Du-Summer Jazz Sessions are at the Roundhouse Plaza which is right across the street from the museum. Entertainers perform every Thursday from 6-8. FREE parking and nice wrapped tables set up for four, first come-first served. However, late comers know to walk in with lawn chairs and the regulars know to bring food.

I agree with you on every aspect of your point. You’re right we must stay in prayer and vote. We must wake up and look around us” faith without works is dead.” So we need to make sure we do our part no matter what it is.
