Protecting Your Skin Under the Masks
During this Pandemic, those of us obeying the government’s mandate to wear masks or face coverings in public has not been without challenges. I find that some of the more protective masks cause headaches, excessive heat, restricted breathing, itching, skin irritations and even acne outbreaks. I suggest removing your mask for a brief period to inhale fresh air and allow your pores to breathe. Then yes, please cover back up. For the skin irritations all you will need is Bentonite Clay and Apple Cider Vinegar. These natural ingredients have been used for centuries and combined they become a powerful detoxifier for your skin.
Please mix two tablespoons of the clay in a plastic container and mix with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Add more vinegar if you want a thinner paste. To further enhance the detoxing benefits you may also add a teaspoon of organic honey or turmeric. Apply the mask evenly to your face using the back of the spoon or a cosmetic spatula sold in beauty stores. Find something relaxing to do while the mask dries which is around fifteen minutes. Rinse off using warm water, pat dry and apply your favorite moisturizer. “Hello beautiful”!
Thank you to my awesome friends for trying, loving and being consistent.
I must admit, these mandated masks have posed a problem for my skin. This mask seems like a good solution to get my skin back on track. Simple ingredients, fifteen minutes and ✨✨😁. I will make a run, with my mask of course and grab the ingredients….
Ladies, what was your experience using the mask?
I am hooked on these fifteen minutes; I can feel the magic of the mask as it tingles. My skin is so refreshed afterwards.
I love it and knowing the benefits from using it!!!! Rejuvinating, clean, and fresh. Most of all I enjoy my pampering/me time.🙌
Absolutely, Vicki! Pampering ourselves is a must!
